Maybe it's a midwestern car?

All I can think of is that it's a typo for deluxe grain in the weave of the seats.

I don't know what "Grain Basin" is either but since the opening bid for this car is $30,000, 
it must be something that is worth a lot! ;D

I think that he means wood grain with white guages. Thats the first time that I have heard it call that.
