HIGHEST BIDDER is the operative word here. Betcha it will go for silly money, even if for a good cause.

The bidder will get an "instant" collector's item that will NOT be torn up by 200 renters.

That said, I like the looks of the '06 GT350H a lot more than the '07 GT/CS

I rented one of these cars this week. WOW, it was really cool, fast and absolutely stunning in person. Kind of expensive to rent though.

I wonder what they charge to rent one. $17 a day adjusted for inflation from 1966??

They initially quote $500 per day....then they readjust to a mere $300 plus fees.

I saw one Sunday evening at a gas station here in Maryland. I had the wife and kids with me so I did not turn around. Plus I saw the prototype and 3 others at SAAC-31. Cool cars.
