I have never used one other than Mustang Monthly mags and repair manuals, because I have never built one show correct. However Paul Newitts Registry books (he has 2, 1st one is out of print) are supposed to be great for the Cal Spec.

You can't beat the factory shop manual, its the best.

I would agree with Jay, the shop manual has been very helpful to me. Another book that I have used is "Mustang restoration handbook" by Don Taylor and Tom Wilson. Good luck on your restoration.
