Hello all, we have threads on this forum about what we do and what we look/looked like. I thought it would be interesting to post pics of the world each of us as individuals live in. You don`t have to post the name of city or the state if you don`t want. I live by what are known as wind farms and I see these gigantic windmills everyday. I also live by mountains, mountains of corn, lol. These are just some of the landmarks in the world I live in in Southwestern Minnesota. So what kinds of landmarks or scenes of beauty do you see on a daily basis in your world?

...located in the Sierra foothills between the Sacramento Valley and Lake Tahoe. This area developed rapidly following the 1850 discovery of gold embedded in quartz and subsequent hardrock mining. Three of the richest mines in the western U.S. operated here until the outbreak of WWII.

Today, it remains as an extremely pleasant, diverse community w/ tall trees, many lakes and temperate climate. Photos include downtown Grass Valley, nearby Nevada City and various surroundings from the air.

Phoenix, AZ; Defining characteristic...Damn hot. While most of the rest of you are tucking your cars in the garage for winter hibernation, I'm just getting to the cool season where I can actually work in the garage without fear of going delirious with heat stroke.

But even in 115 deg summers there are still some great scenic areas once you get outside the city.

These are some shots taken at Alum Creek State Park early this summer at a local show we had. Had a pretty good turnout of cars. Was actually nice compared to most shows that are held in the city. Nice, peaceful and quiet on the lake.

Well, here are a few from Chicago from today (snow). Today we expect 12to14 inches for our first winter storm. But, we are used to it. Casey
