Just watched the Gumball Rally for the 1st time in years. Great movie for Ford-lovers. A few scenes are a little ridiculous but the big-block soundtrack, the early morning New York scene, the LA river scenes, and the Cobra vs. Ferrari race scenes make it worthwhile.

Yep, that's right. I just wasn't sure how it would sound, taken out of context. I also like when the cop is trying to catch the Cobra with a helicopter and the pilot says "We don't have fixed wing aircraft that will go that fast!", or so my ancient mind recalls.

Unfortunately that was while they were chasing the Ferrari. Smith tells Franco to, "Open 'er up" to Franco's great pleasure. But the moral of the story is still the same.......the Cobra wins the race.

OK, I'll quit while I'm waaaaay behind. I haven't seen that movie in probably 20 years. I'm lucky to have remembered the title it seems.

...Steve, I only remembered that one line from the whole movie! 'Popped into my head one day when I busted the mirror off my old Bronco to give to Mike (somethingspecial).

He was laying (buried) under my Mach I checking block casting numbers... What else was I supposed to do? ;-)))

I was lying under the Mach and asked Tim if he had a mirror and a flashlight. He produced the flashlight without trouble, then walked over to his bronco and busted the side mirror and handed me a piece. My wife almost hit the ground in laughter. Some things are just warranted without cause I quess.

Yep, I thought it was pretty cool, but it seemed a little unfair.
