I just got back from a car show up in Chillicothe, Missouri and it was very cool lost of very very very nice mustangs. I saw another GT/CS there it originaly had a 390 but the guy ripped it out and threw in a boss 302...
it was still a good looker though. P.S. i lost to a 2004 mustang that was bone stock...ew
That's cool - except for the 2004 mustang lost in his dust sort of thing...but maybe your car wasn't warmed up?
I'm still thinking your vehicle is having a bit more trouble than just needing to be "warmed up". I consulted with a mechanic earlier, we were talking about my car when I suggested he give me advice on your problem.
Said it sounded unusual, and probably was more than just "warming up" - you might want to give it an all around tune up, and if your still finding troubles consult a mechanic who can listen to your car and offer you some free advice.
Goodluck, thanks for sharing the car show stories!

yea Ill get pics uploaded later some nice cars.
My CS used to do this too, I put on a smaller carb; 650 Holley 4-barrel instead of the 750 my hubby put on in high school, and had my transmission adjusted.
It still needs 2 or 3 minutes to warm up, but no longer dies when I put it in gear.
