As a new owner of a '66 HCS coupe, I'm wondering what this '66 HCS has under the hood?? It certainly doesn't look like a stock 289 air cleaner to me. Any ideas?

I believe what you are seeing is a notebook/scrapbook on top of the air cleaner. Many owners choose to compile a picture book, if you will, on the progress made on their car.
