i thought there are 3 428 GTCS's and 9 428 HCS's...

is there really only 2 428 GTCS and 6 428 HCS's

There are 3 CS/CJ's Dave, 2 of them were sold in Utah and 1 in Washington.

Cool article, maybe I do have a rare Mustang after all.

Very interesting article. Thanks for posting it. They actually had the '70 428 Cobra Jet Pace Car as one of the clues on "Jeopardy" today.

David, you're right about 9 HCS 428 cars produced, and I just recently located the 7th of those 9, up from the 6 that have been in the registry for quite a few years. HC Bob here.
