Im trying to finish up cleaning off my valve covers I bead blasted it but missed a few spots would paint stripper be ok to use or would it eat at the aluminum? thanks for the replys!

If they can stand up to blasting, they can sure stand up to stripper. And if you got stock valve covers, they are made of steel, not aluminum. Bead blasting should have easily removed all the paint. If not, I would just take a wire wheel to them. Be sure to etch prime it before painting.

I believe that valve covers he was referring to are actually aluminium, they were both factory and dealer installed on many Mustangs. The paint stripper should be fine on the aluminium, but dont let it sit on the parts any longer than it has to. It may discolor the part somewhat, but if you are painting or polishing the valve covers it should not be to much of a concern.
