As some of you may know, I'm going to try my hand at drag racing tomorrow with David Athans. It's the first time I've ever done this. I'm running Nitto NT555R 305/35 X 18 tires. My question is regarding tire pressure. What is the optimal tire pressure for these tires to hook up?

my guys at B&D racing said you can lower your tire pressure as low as 20psi... i think you should start at 24psi and work your way down....trying to hook up at the track is not going to be easy for you even with 305 drag radials

I'd say 20psi will work about the best for you but like he said, start at 24. Have fun!
