...practically in my own back yard! Some 35 original Model As & Ts, plus a dozen or so other cars in a barn we didn't see yet. It's part of an estate sale which includes thousands of spare parts and memorabilia. At least a dozen of the cars were gone before we arrived. My friend Scott picked up a 1928 Ford flatbed and many spares for a song :) I'll post more pics of the other barns and many of the parts later...

As more of the baby boomers start dying off that kind of find will be seen more and more. The guys kids probably wanted no part in that "old junk". Just get rid of it to make way for Honda Civics!
I want another '31 model A. My last one was radical. Blown 350, etc. I'd like to do an all Ford one this time.

...That's probably very true. In this case; the guy inherited most of this from a fellow Model A club member who had no kids. He's keeping a few choice rides and liquidating the rest...

Hey Renee! Isn't there a car show down your way tomorrow? We'd like to take the black CS :)

Hey Tim,

Yes there is a small show here in Loomis tomorrow night at Jimboy's Tacos. It is from 4-9 p.m. I will be there with my baby and I would love to have you and TJ come by with the black CS!! Hope to see you there! Call me and let me know if you are going to make it and I will save you a parking spot next to mine.

I am looking for a 34 ford pick-up. Poor shape/no engine is fine - as long as the body itself is in decent shape. I plan to rat rod it for my dad who had one chopped and channeled in the 50's and give it to him as a gift. Just been waiting for one to pop up. If they "happen" to have one, let me know. Casey

...Casey - I didn't see any '34s, but will return to look into the barn we haven't seen yet.

Cougar - Yeah, we covered all the "John Boy" jokes ;-)

Green56 - No public auction, rather he's been trailering cars & stuff to swap meets and selling & delivering from there... My friend followed him home & arranged to buy the '28. I was just along for the ride, but will follow up and PM you if you wish...

Hey! Don't keep all that fun to yourself!! Tell Scott that it's my turn to drive her :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

...Okay. but you'll want to bring a small crescent wrench, flat screwdriver and a plastic egg o'that Silly Putty along (in your purse) for any major repairs in case she sputters & quits! Your purse will need to be strapped to the bed 'cuz the floorboards pre-date the "Flintstones!" You'll also need to be proficient at hand signals and BY NO MEANS - lean against the doors while going around turns!!! The air conditioning works great above 40 kts., but most importantly; If you stop smelling gas - you're out of gas!!!

No problem! That stuff is standard equipment in my purse... Sad, but actually true! I do carry a small cresent wrench and a double headed screw driver in my purse. You never know when you might need something like that!! The people at work ALWAYS come to me when they need something unusual  . I have even been told several times that I should go on that "Let's Make A Deal" show because I guess they ask people for unusual stuff and give them $$$ for it. Heck, I have all sorts of "unusual" stuff in my purse! Oops....did I reveal too much about some of the things that "might" be in a woman's purse?????
