Oh keepers of all knowledge CS, I am confused and befuddled. I'm stripping my car, prepping it to go into the body shop tomorrow and ran into a situation I have no answer for. Why would the San Jose plant not put a nut on that handy bolt sticking through the body in the middle of the scoop on the right side and instead run a square drive, flat head wood screw through the rear of the scoop and cover it with bondo? I have a need to know. :D
(Just kidding, I amused myself thinking what an idiot dork the previous owner must have been and thought I'd share the laugh.)

In all seriousness, the scoop they drilled through is original with a removeable plate over the opening and the other looks repop, light grey with no opening. I need grills for them and can't remember who here had them available and couldn't find it in the search engine. Could someone let me know who the person was?

NID,
I believe that was Branda or Mustangs Unlimited that advertised those. Good place to start, I guess.....

I think Bob Teets has those grills.

Sorry I didn't close this one out. I ordered the screens from Bob and they look great. I highly recommend them to anyone else. I haven't put them on yet because I'm talking to the body shop today about maybe needing a quarter panel. So much for my car being done by April 19th, but that's the way it goes.
