I have never owned a GT/CS, but would like to some day in the future. Do you think this is a good price considering the condition and mileage? Thanks

It's difficult to say what condition the car is in from those photos, but from what I think I can see the engine compartment and interior look a little rough.
It also looks like the driver's side script does not line up correctly, but that may just be the camera angle.

I wouldn't buy this car for over $5,000. It may be fine for him to drive to work, but it's not in the best condition. The driver's seat looks cut, the engine compartment needs to be cleaned up, engine needs to be inspected regardless of what the owner has said, and to get the classic look of a CS, you need to take off the horse in the front. Original GT/CS didn't have those. Plus it's mileage is horrible (186,000 mi). You'll need new paint (ebay description tells why). It's a beautiful car, but requires too much money for touch ups imo to pay nearly $17k for it. I've seen a GT/CS in red w/ white stripes and black interior, front bench seats, and 50,000 mi with no work needed being sold for $12k, which is well worth it, but not for this car. Sorry to the seller, but that's my opinion on this car, it just isn't worth that much money. Rarity isn't the only factor in a car's worth

I'll buy as many as cars like this for $5,000 as you want to sell me. Heck, I'll even double it and buy all you can provide for $10,000 each.

I think this car is definitely worth looking at, especially since it's a High Country Special.
