Aspen Gold is IMO the prettiest color of all three options those first two years. Too bad most of them were Timberline Green. I've only seen one other Aspen Gold in person. It was a '67 Convertible. There's a kid locally who has an Aspen Gold '66 coupe, but when he painted it, he thought Aspen Gold really meant Gold and didn't do his research. The car is now god awful gold with the original Aspen Gold right underneath. IT HAD THE ORIGINAL PAINT!!! AAARRRGHH!!!!!! |
