Should I make it into a clone?

Hi everyone:

I am buying a 1968 J code, with AT & PS, for $3500, not a rust bucket; it is straight. It needs almost everything, but has a great 4 bbl 302 and trans. It is a reliable daily driver. If it were you, would you keep it stock, or do it into a GT/CS clone? Or, should I get a Marti report first, then decide? thanks, Johann

You're asking this bunch?
For a stock J-code: GT/CS or a Shelby Coupe (like Little Red or, even better, the Green Hornet).

I agree. Since you'll need to buy a lot of fiberglass to make a GT/CS clone why not buy some for the front of the car and make a Green Hornet tribute?
