Agree with you on this one Jon: The X code is a very rare big block engine!! For those who dont know is a 390ci engine with a 2bbl carb. I believe that all of the X codes have automatic transmissions.

According to the Marti report, all X code California Specials were autos. Not sure about the other 68's.

abcan, the original poster (classicsguy) wasn't selling the car. He was just passing along a Craigslist ad that he saw. Since the ad has expired (or been deleted) there's really no way to get in touch with the seller unless it shows up on Craigslist again.
