The mach1 is a friend of mine.he runs 13.1 at 106mph.Hes got 4.10s axles dragradials and hits 1.6 60ft.times.I actually taught him to drive that car now hes killing me,except in mph.I used to have a white mach1 with automatic that ran 13.00's all day long.Yes you probably saw me in Cary.I have a detail shop in Fox River Grove on RT.22 next to Dannar Autobody and Slingshot Motorsport.

please take a picture of your timeslip with a digital camera and post it....or just list out your time intervals and speeds:

60' time
330' time
660' (1/8mile) time & speed if they gave you both
1000' time
1320' 13.7 at 107mph

another thing...if you can find out the elevation of the track and what was the temperature, was there any wind?

also what tire pressure were you racing with?
what rpm did you cross the light at...in your 4th gear?

btw....awesome pictures and congrats on hittin 13s

Elevation is 715 ft.DA was 800ft.tire press 25psi,Launched 2,000-2,500rpm,shift 5,500-6,200rpm stayed in 3rd on all runs,3640lbs.raceweight
60ft. 2.01
330 5.88
1/8 8.99
mph 79.65
1000 11.61
1/4 13.7
MPH 106.90
I was powershifting on most of my passes. With the drive by wire I dont know if the throttle was open.My best time was leaving at 2,500rpm shifting at 6,200rpm.My Biggest problem is wheelhop on launch and 1-2shift.If I left soft and shift soft ET and MPH would suffer.Im thinking of putting My drag radials on from my Mach1 and see what happens with 18PSI in the tires.its amazing how the car pulls on the big end.Thats where my buddies mach1 has a hard time holding me off due to his 4.10 gear.

Thanks 07GT/CS...i know the 07 shelbys come stock with 3.55 gears...is that what your racing with, 3.55s?...goin through the lights in your 3rd gear...you must have been up near your peak, 6200rpm crossin the lights...next time you race, try to pay attention to that and write it down on the back of your timeslip.

Note your 1/8mile time and remember the last forum topic where that guy wayne westmoreland thought he was doin 7.8 seconds in the 1/8th mile on a stock car....well your slighly modded and your time was 8.99 at 79.65mph...these are the true numbers...doing the same calculation, using the 330ft time and the 660ft time...it took you 3.11 seconds (not 1.7 seconds) to cover a distance of 330ft....that is an average speed of 106.1ft/s..which is 72.3mph average speed and your 1/8mile speed is 79.65mph so your numbers do make sense.

Turns out the track I (wayne westmoreland aka: that guy) was on was only 500' instead of a true 1/8 mile. I think my ticket would make more since.

ya, your times do make sense on the 500' track because your 330 ft was 6.1 seconds and your 500ft was 7.8 seconds...so you traveled 170 ft in 1.7 seconds which is 100ft/s or 68.18mph average speed and your speed at 500' was 70something so your good!....i am really surprised that the mystery turned out to be a short track and not a faulty time sequence, but its cool to finally know why you were getting such strange numbers that now make sense...try racing on a 1320 ft racetrack sometime and let us know how you do
