Anyone ever see one like this before? I know the '67s had these but usually matching the interior color. Mine is woodgrain and solid. Wonder if this was a SCS specific deal.

I would lean more towards a previous owner making it to cover the holes from an original knee pad.

Whoever made it them sure did a good job. I'll have to take a closer look at it....but it looks pretty factory!
If it isn't factory correct, how hard is it to find a replacement and install? Have to find a used one?

^^Those are just the regular padded ones, I think he is asking, if it's not a custom one off kinda deal, can buy them in woodgrain. As far as I know I have never seen one of these on a Mustang, but they sure do look neat

I've never seen any Ski Country Special literature talk about any interior enhancements; just exterior items. I would agree that it's a custom item by a previous owner.

The one item I've never quite understood about the SCS is the "coffee bar" as listed in the Ford adverts at the time. Everything I can find says the "coffee bar" is the luggage rack, but that seems like an odd name for a luggage or ski rack. Maybe it's some 60's term that I'm not aware of (since I wasn't born yet!)

Thanks for all the info.
It does look different and somewhat cool on my car! I guess if I want it factory correct I need to get a padded blue one to replace with.

I too never understood the "coffee bar" term. I have read too that all that was was the ski rack. Maybe b/c people rested their coffer on it if they were standing around or something!
