I like the photo showing what looks like a Cleveland engine with the SVO heads. I remember those from the '80s SVO catalogs. The flattie with the Navarro heads is cool too!

LOL. I used that very model Sun machine in my Dad's garage (1950's thru 1960's)

Those are SVO "valve covers". I had a set!! Bolt right on any Cleveland head. I saw a couple old flattie superchargers! I think that looks like a 289/302 tri-power set up!

Tim, Did you buy this stuff? O MY GOD!!!

...No, I didn't buy it Rob ;-)
'Was just along with a friend and a visit...

I did recently buy a whole bunch of early Mustang & Falcon stuff though... 'Haven't seen it all yet, but it amounts to about three truckloads for a "come get it all now" price! I'll keep you posted :)

Tim,
A good friend of mine is a major Airstream restorer and aficionado. He travels the US. Guts them, restores them, modernizes them. Polish, polish, polish!

If your friends friend wants any information or sources let me know and I will hook you up!

It is amazing what is out there waiting to be found, and it is sad that some things are being lost due to negligence.

I know where there is a 70 year old man who has some awesome cars hidden in his barns nearby. Those include a 1970 Mach 1 351C and a genuine, practically original 1967 GT500. You would never guess he had those cars unless he showed you.

There is also a grown over cow pasture about 10 miles up the road that has dozens of awesome cars just rotting and rusting away in it. The guy who owns them bought them up in the 1970's and 1980's and parked them there. He started selling them about 10 years ago through the internet. He misrepresented them and did some other shady things, and in the process, he tried to defraud a lawyer from Birmingham. He ended up getting convicted of several counts of fraud and went to jail for a while. Now he won't sell them at all. They just waste away with weeds and small pine trees growing up around them. I looked through that pasture several times. Here is a sample: 1970 AMX, 1967 Corvette Stingray, 1967 GT350, 1966 Jaguar XKE Coupe, 1969 Plymouth Superbird, A Pantera (don't know what year), and dozens of average 1950's and 1960's vehicles.

It is heartbreaking watching those cars deteriorate.

It is neat to see this little time capsule you photographed. I bet California has more places like that than anywhere else in the world.
