I have not done it my self but understand you remove the dust cap then press out the shaft then the bearing. Reverse the order for reassembly.

This video kind of walks you through it. That is my boss doing the work in the video.
I have probably done 50 bearing replacements of the various A/C pulleys to date. I do all of the bearing replacements for my company.
I don't peen the caps in anymore with a punch. I hand fit the cap, and use just a dab of JB weld to reattach.

So CougarCJ what would it cost to replace the bearing and restore the bracket? The whole idea is to powder coat the bracket, but the bearing is not going to make it through the oven.

The service is $55 per pulley for your style of bearing.
WCCC A/C Bearing replacement service
All that we can do is the bearing replacement, we aren't painting or restoring. I can't guarantee if powder coating won't get damaged during the process. Pre-painted brackets and pulleys do get scratched during the pressing.

Thanks! I'm still weighing my options on it. I may try and get the bearing off in two weeks myself. That's the only bracket that is not getting painted until I get that noisy bearing R and R.
Can someone tell me what are the steering ratios in a C-Code with P/S?

Steering gear box ratio for the SMB-K box is 16:1.

Just noticed the machine shop just about milled my numbers off the engine. What should I do?

Do you have an engine VIN 'before' photo to show prospective buyers?
