Do you have the courtesy light group option listed on your Marti report? It was not standard on all cars.

The wire connected to the trunk harness a green wire with a red connector on the passenger side and routed in the a round hole on the front corner of the deck lid. The light mounted on a rectangular just to the left of the catch.

Car did not have Courtesy Light Group, but has had period correct items added. Have only been able to find details of the Trunk Light on a 68 Shelby. Would like to position the light correctly but, cannot find any information on where/ how on a GTCS. Any information would be appreciated.

The standard tail light harness does not have the wire for the trunk light. I gave you the location above it is the same as a Shelby. You will also need to run a ground wire like the Shelby have because of the fiberglass deck lid.
