Great looking and running car, 289, 3 speed. I've been the owner of this car for the last 20 years only putting few hundred miles on it. It was restored by previous owner and i have all the receipts alone with the original bill of sale from when car was bought new. If interested and would like more info or picture please call 360-747-2008 or email me @ lukeaskin14@gmail.com

In the next few weeks I hope to be driving Spokane to Seattle for work so if anyone wants me to look at this car let me know and I'll make a slight detour.

I've been talking to Luke about his car and he sent me these photos.

It's a C-code with a manual 3-speed (Rob, that could easily become a 5-speed!) and no options to speak of.
It was restored in 1982, by Mustang Headquarters, in Califorina.
A new exhaust system, with headers, was installed in 1989.
Luke purchased the car 20 years ago and has only changed the carb to an Edelbrock.
The engine is original to the car but the intake is cast with C9OX 9242B so at some point someone tried to get a little more power out of the 289.
No Marti report yet but I'm pretty sure it's real.

I'm very very conflicted.....I love my GT\CS but one day I would love to own a Presidential Blue one with blue interior. Sadly, I cannot keep selling and buying different cars!!
Luckily I bought my car when Canadian dollar was high...now to buy a car out of the U.S. would cost 25% more because of exchange rate. Makes them unattainable to me.

This car with a 5 speed conversion and 3.50 gears would be a hoot to drive!!! Looks kinda dark for Acapulco blue, but sometimes pictures do that.

What a great looking car!!!

Presidential Blue is the best color Ford ever offered these cars in!

OK, Gotta put a stop to this here and now. We won't have any of this bickering back and forth over colors. We just need to agree Highland Green is the best color. DOHHHHHH!!!!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Heck, I've had two 67's and two 68's,,,and all four cars were Candy Apple Red (with red interior).

HMMM, Not a big selection in your town I guess. Keep looking, You will find a Highland Green GT/CS someday, and if not, You can always repaint. Might not look to good with Red interior though. LOL
