The first known HCS seems to be 165224 and the last is 171998.

Best guess of it's value?

I see that it's up to about $9,350 at this point in the auction with 5 days to go ... does anyone want to offer their opinions as to it's value in it's current condition? My friend Andre is considering bidding on this one ...

Phoenix DSO, so it's not a HCS.
V-8 conversion would require a GOOD look-see to be sure it was done right:
wheels, brakes, steering, suspension, quality of workmanship.
The front wheels seem to protrude too far out. Wide track, or the type of wheels?
Apparently a 'no reserve' auction. To me, that means the seller wants it gone.
Too much of a major mod for my taste, but 'to each his own'.

According to the NADA guide the average retail on a "T" code Cal Special is around $15,000. With all of the changes done to this car I'm afraid you would be into it too much if you changed everything back to original. Questions to ask would be does it have the original fiberglass and as Neil mentioned has the suspension been upgraded to a V-8 suspension. Looks like a nice car from the photos. 67 console. It would be a perfect car for a Raider fan :)

Cheers,

Ron

It was originally yellow with a deluxe saddle interior. That would have looked great!
