Hi gang,

Has anybody tried one of the new (to me) solid state constant voltage regulators? (NPD # 10804-1E) It's the little device that mounts to the back of the instrument cluster, and provides 5 volts to the gauges. Does it work OK, reliable?

I've had two oil pressure sending units fail within 200 miles, both NAPA.
I bought an O'Reilly unit, but it has the same stamping as the NAPA unit.
Really gets my attention when the oil pressure reads ZERO!
Anybody had any better luck with another brand, and where did you get it?

THANKS, Dave

I prefer the solid state V/R. A little more $$, but I believe puts out a constant DC voltage.

Oil pressure switch: Try NPD for your supplier. If any difficulty, they follow up with their suppliers for quality control. I've had good luck using NPD.
