Question Hemmings, AutoTrader, eBay, here, craigslist, etc?

Any thoughts on where I should advertise my '68 GT/CS?

Please correct me if I am wrong but here is what I found so far...

- they have 2 options: deluxe for $80 and premium for $150
- both include 1 month print version and 6 months online
- has dedicated GT/CS choice

- they have 3 options: basic for $50, deluxe for $100 and premium for $150
- basic is for 2 months
- deluxe and premium run until sold feature

- fee is $125 only if sold
- listing free except for extras

- free

GT/CS website
- free

Thanks and my apologies if this has already been discussed.

I really like Bring A Trailer. You can set a reserve. The sale prices tend to be on the lower side, but the bids are legitimate since bidders have to pay a fee to bid. As with any auction, high quality cars bring good money.

They always have interesting cars for sale on that site. I have never seen a GTCS for sale on that site, but I feel the bidders appreciate unique cars.

Ebay/Craigslist probably have more tire kickers than the others...

Depends on your pricing and how motivated you are to sell. If a nicer car and asking higher $ Ebay and CL are more likely to get the lowballers dissing the car. Hemmings is probably the other end of the scale.

More sites = more eyes on the car. But more eyes may mean more dead end questions and uninformed buyers to deal with... catch 22.

I would say this site number one, because it's free and you have a dedicated audience. Number two would be cars online. I've had good luck with them.
