Smile What are you towing and what are you towing it with?

Hi all,

Just curious as to what you are towing - cars, 5th wheel, horse trailers, open or enclosed trailer, etc.

And what are you towing the trailer with? F150, F250 - eco boost, V8 or GM product?

have fun, Dave

If confusion is a destination.....we have arrived.

My tow rig is a 2011 F250 Superduty with a 6.2 gas and a six speed auto. Four door 4x4 with the 6.5' bed.

I tow a 24' travel trailer, an 18' open car hauler which mostly hauls my tractor and a 14' ATV trailer.

I've owned this tractor since 2004 and just his summer it had it's first wash. Currently just under 1100 hours on it.

I have a 2008 E 350 van with 5.4 pulling a 24' V nose enclosed trailer. Not the best in the mountains.

Eco boost for towing?

Anybody have any experience, or information on towing with an F150, equipped with the 3.5 turbo Ecoboost engine? Thinking of an enclosed trailer, with our '66 conv. in it. Just guessing around 6,000 lbs.

thanks, Dave

Been using my 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 with 5.3 and Tow package for towing an open car hauling trailer. Adequate, but would like more power on hills. Typical highway mileage when towing was 14-17.
My work (WCCC) has a 2004 F350 Ford Super Duty that was born a V10 and 2 wheel drive. It was changed to Cummins Diesel, 5 speed automatic, and 4 wheel drive prior to our purchase. Not fast off of the line, but runs through the hills very well with a loaded trailer.

What year F150?
Should be able to find this online for other years.
This is for the 2015 which I happen to have. Haven't towed with it (yet) to be able to provide feedback.

I have a 2014 F-150 with the 3.5 Ecoboost engine and I love it. I don't tow often, but when I do it does great and I've never had an issue. I tow my 72 Bronco on a flat bed trailer and I can hardly tell it's there. 3500 lb Bronco + 1500 lb trailer

I used to tow an 18' ski boat with a c-code GT/CS, but I guess that doesn't count
