Rob's Cougar post inspired me to post some pictures of a 1968 428 CJ that I restored and finished last summer for a friend. It has a 4.30:1 rear axel. Man is it a hoot to drive, factory race car.

Marty,
Those Goodyear tires are fodder for that combination. Me thinks it is not driven a lot!

You would be correct. Mostly in and out of the trailer. The owner has owned it for 30 years as a pile of parts. He has dreamed of restoring it to this level for a long time. I was very honored to do the restoration for him. He has only driven it once since it was done do to his age. It is a very fun car to drive with 4:30 gears out back and a 428 in front.
