Notes & Modifications
This HCS was Bob Teets's first HCS and was featured in Paul Newitt's first book in the HCS section. Only 251 HCS were built in 68 of the 251 only 12 had deluxe interiors. Ours is one of the twelve. We purchased the car in April of 09. Many options had been added to the car when we got it. Such as head rests, lower console, tach dash, 4V carb, power disc brakes, chrome styled steel wheels, power steering and a AM-FM radio. I did not want to give them up when we started restoration so I decided to add a tilt collumn and factory type airconditioning. We started the restoration in Febuary of 10 and it is still on going. We have a web site detailing the restoration process at http://68hcs.weebly.com
