Wanted Original driver's side rear end cap needed

Here's a copy of the reproduction side scoop and you can see they just epoxied the bolt to the back side of the scoop. The end caps are done just like it. I'm trying to find a photo of the end cap, but no luck yet.

Wanted Original driver's side rear end cap needed

Hi Neil, it's great to hear from you. The original 1/4 extensions have pre-formed pedestals that the mounting bolts are anchored to. The reproductions have a bolt that is just epoxied to the inside and no pedestal.

Wanted Original driver's side rear end cap needed

Hi everyone, I haven't been on the site in a while. My cousin is doing a ground up restoration on his "J" code C.S. and I noticed yesterday that he has a reproduction d.s. rear end cap. I've looked on the various websites and no luck. I don't like the reproductions because of the lack of...

    1968 Distinctive Industries Front Seats

Arlie, I put them in my 67 coupe and they were very comfortable. I use to drive it from the Sacramento area to northern Nevada and a regular basis and never got tired sitting in them. I would highly recommend them for a non-stock driver. Cheers! Ron

Looks like there will be another 100 point Cal Special in the works. Can't wait to see what you do to it. Wish that I could have some floor mats made up for it, but I don't have that source any more. Cheers! Ron

Hi Dan, I wanted to send my condolences to you and your family. I considered your dad a close friend. I came to Denver a few years back when your dad was still in good shape. I contacted him before I made the trip from California and did not know what to expect when I came to visit. I arrived...

    For Sale 1968 High Country

Having taken on a restoration project similar to this one a couple of years ago you would be looking at a $40,000 project unless you can do most of the work yourself. IMO the car isn't worth more than $4,000 especially with all of the rust. The front floors are gone which usually means the...

I just received a message from the administrator for the F.B. group and he asked me if I currently owned a C.S. and I said that we have one in the family. He proceeded to tell me that the group was only for current owners and that I needed to keep quiet about not currently owning a C.S...
