On the Marty report, the first option listed is a white paint stripe. What is that? (showing my ignorance here) Is it the 2 hood blinker recesses painted white?

Aren't the KSC badges on the wrong side - PS horse in 2nd photo on this thread is running to the rear. DS horse is running to rear also (Mecum site)

I see what he intended in using "predating" as the HCS first came out in 66 and CS in 68. By grouping the fragments incorrectly, (the 251 HCS match to the 68 production numbers) a newb might be lead to think in model year 1968, the 251 HCS were built BEFORE all CS.

First post: The Marti shows 8F01S112477 Later post "Ok, this is interesting. The first four cars in the Registry all have July 1967 date codes but weren't actually built until November 1967." The snip from the Registry shows 8F01S112477 listed as the 4th car. Aren't they the same?

I like the NO RUST WHATSOVER!! comment. I guess the brown color on the bumper, engine block, hood lock, air cleaner . . . . are an optional paint scheme.

When I first called he was with someone and was sure it was an original. He pushed back on the VIN just a bit. When he called me back with the vin and I told him it was a clone, he was shocked. No unpleasantries or challenges. He did not ask for clarification on why it was a clone.
