    WOW Move-In Day

We marked the floors last night at Bartle Hall here in Kansas City for World of Wheels 2011. Today is move-in day. We received (as a special gift) almost 2 inches of new snow last night. My enclosed trailer ride backed out so we have to take two cobras in with an open trailer in the sloppy...

    . Cobra Picture

Got in about 200 miles this weekend in the cobra. Might be our last chance to get in miles before cold weather sits in. 1403 total miles for 2010. Not as many as I wanted but lost two months in the middle of summer before switching to Pertronix ignition set up. Paul

    1968 Coil Issue

Anyone ever had a coil go bad and when the engine gets warm, the engine runs bad (backfires, shakes, etc) But, when you first start, the engine runs smooth? Wondering if that is my issue on my cobra and looking to see if anyone else had this experience. Thanks in advance Paul

    AC Cobra Engine

We received our newly build 390 FE engine for our new cobra build yesterday. The engine is great. It is bored out .40 over, original 428CJ heads, aluminum intake, and Holley carb. Somewhat of a mild cam and flat top pistons. Also complete with a 4 speed Toploader transmission and a Lakewood...

    Stevenson GT/CS (SOLD!!!)

It is a bittersweet day for the Stevenson garage. We have sold our GT/CS to a member on the site. This was my hope all along to have someone on the site buy the car as I very much wanted someone who knew what it is, how much work went into it, and how to properly take care of the car. I...

    Cobra Project Update

We are moving along slowly on the cobra project. Thus far, we have undercoated the body and built up the rolled edges on the fender wells. Then, we worked some on the frame by installed the upper and lower control arms, spindles, ran brake lines, and installed brake calipers. After that, we...

    New GT/CS

Okay, I know I am way behind the power curve. However, this past weekend, my cobra club was invited to a local KC dealership to put on a show with the cobra's. Since I don't have mine done yet, I asked to see if I could bring my GT/CS. The cobra club president said "sure" and off Zach and I...

    POR15 Ad/Poster

A few weeks ago, we had a question to ask the POR15 folks about an application of POR15 on my new cobra. After asking, we visited and I told them how much we enjoyed using their product on our GT/CS. They said "sent us some pictures", which I did and a link to this site. The advertising folks...

    Ford 9 in Rear End

We decided we wanted to install a Ford 9 inch rear end (325 gears) in our car instead of the 8 inch (279 gears) rear end. We think it improved the lower end with our 289 Hipo. Paul

    Spring Car Thing

Zach and I drove our GT/CS to Lenexa, KS today to the 3rd Annual Spring Car Thing Car Show. Since the show was basically all exotic cars, we competed with all American cars in a class called "American Muscle". We competed agains about 5 AC Cobras, a couple Camero's, several new Mustangs, and a...

    AC Cobra Update

I know for most of you, this is not your cup of tea. However, this is our third AC Cobra Replica build and I think it is pretty cool. I just wanted to provide an update on my new project. First, the the frame has been handbuilt from scratch using original AC Cobra as a template. It is...

    For Sale: Stevenson GT/CS

I know many of you will not believe this, however, Zach and I have decided to sell our GT/CS. We are in the process of building a new AC Cobra Replica and are short on space to store both cars. I thought this would be the best forum to "test" the market for our car. If we are unsucessful in...
