    67 Bronco progress

The A/C install is moving along. Evaporator, condenser, dryer, and compressor are in and work has started on routing the hoses. The wiring has also been set roughly in place. Hoses should be cut and crimped over the weekend with hopes that the A/C wiring is also complete. I still need to wire...

    67 Bronco progress

The VP at Vintage Air talked me into installing the Gen IV system which they have not yet created a bolt-in Bronco kit. I'm the second one doing this so this should be fun. Parts arrived yesterday, I've torn into all the boxes and mounted the brackets to see if they will work.... it's lookin...

    68 Coupe assembly progress

I fianlly fixed the ongoing vibration. Turned out I had a missmatched 10-1/2" clutch and 10" flywheel. The clutch needed to be pinned to the flywheel so after spending a few $$$$ on the correct parts and pulling the trans for the third time, the vibration is gone. YEA! Next is the A/C to tackle...

    67 Bronco progress

Thought I'd give a quick update: Had another motor rebuilt to go carb and sold the 5.0 EFI which was in it. New wiring harness mounted but not routed Pedals in but still need to hook up the clutch and master cylinder (tonight) Dash is in but guages not yet wired. I expect to have it fired up by...

    1968 Paint and body work

Sounds a bit high to me, I had my coupe done for $4700 which included patching several rust holes and a new bumper and fuel tank. I'm happy with the quality of the work but this is where price varies. You get what you pay for.... if you put it in writing first. Good luck

    Neighborhood car show.

LOL Yea, there are a lot of car guys in the neighborhood but I have to admit, I cheated and invited some friends so we could fill the street. About 1/3 do live in the neighborhood.

    Neighborhood car show.

Good eye David, It is a GS Corvette replica. It belongs to a neighbor of mine that likes to bring it out to tease the Cobras. I was a bit bummed, the Mustang count was down although there were a few inc the red conv and BB fastback you see in one of the pics.

    Neighborhood car show.

Had a great day yesterday. My HOA asked me to organize a neighborhood blockparty/carshow, we had 65 cars and about 250 people attend. Doesn't get any better than walking out your front door and see this... Had a live band in my garage and a chili cookoff on my next door...

    68 Coupe assembly progress

Brakes are on. Maybe a little overkill but can you ever have too much brake? 14" vented rotors Wilwood 6 piston calipers. Manual set-up. Wilwood 7/8" dual reservior master, still need a prop valve to the rear to dial it in.

    67 Bronco progress

After all that talk, I think I've sold the Bronco. A guy made me an offer I couln't refuse and is sending a deposit (we'll see). Only problem is he wants me finish everything except paint and wants it soon. Look like the GT/CS will be put on hold while I work on this, at least I'll have the...

    1968 My 68 GT/CS build has begun

The wheels will be Argent. I'm planning putting the car mostly back to stock with the exception of a Wilwood disc upgrade on the front in place of the drums. Safety first, right?

    1968 New and looking

$20K does sound high but it's what many are asking for nice coupes (here in Ca). I've seen some asking $25K for a coupe. Also: I'm always looking at vehicles, because I can't seem to stop myself, and I've heard the same "I bought it for my grand kid" story on a few of them. I did buy one with...

    1968 My 68 GT/CS build has begun

Just washed it last night to put a cover over it. I think I've got a buyer for my Bronco but he wants it drivable so I need to jump on that project and put this aside for a while. It looks like a car.

1968 GT/CS needs Air Conditioning, which is best?

I had good luck putting a "Vintage Air" system in a 67 Camaro. It was a fairly easy install and worked well.

    1968 My 68 GT/CS build has begun

After I helped my wife in the yard for a couple hours I was able to make some progress on the reassembly. I think It's cleaning up nicely. I was also able to install the shocks, paint and install the inner fender shock/spring covers. Also joined the motor and trans so they're ready to drop in.
