    1968 Few Pictures

Awesome car. I’m on a similar journey and it’s really close to done. Mine is also red, and also loaded up including the rare factory headrests. You made some tasteful mods, why not go with a Borgenson steering upgrade? That’s what I did. I wanted our car as original as I could but that was...

    1968 Advice on originality

Here’s a couple of pics of our (the wife’s) car. We also went with a black stripe. The original car had a black vinyl roof and a white stripe, a very odd combo.

    1968 Advice on originality

Just save all of the parts. It can all be undone. I am just about done with a really nice resto of a loaded red/red C Code car. My car was 100 percent complete down to the plug wires. I put in upgraded seatbelts, Borgenson steering, closed chambered heads with Chevy valves, period correct...

    1968 It’s almost done!

I bought this CS out of California over 30 years when I was flipping rust free cars from California to the Southeast to pay for college. I stuck this one in the barn and kept it. After a 10 year stay with a paint shop it finally came out of paint in January. They did a great job on the paint...

    Wanted Left quarter window

Restoration is almost done on my CS. Been waiting for a repro left quarter window for over 6 months with no end in sight. Prefer new (NOS or Repro) but would consider a used one if it’s not corroded. I have seen hundreds of used ones on eBay and elsewhere. They all have pitting and...

For Sale GT/CS on Bring a Trailer

I thought that plus the buyers fee was strong money for this car. Might be okay as a driver but it’s a no option car and a resto would easily put one well Over the cars value.

    1968 York vs Sanyo

Hey all. I’m restoring my 1968 CS that I have had for 30 years. It was 99 percent complete, even the pollution control heads. I’m going original in most places but making a few bolt on upgrades for drivability, including some closed chamber bigger valved heads, a period correct 4 barrel...

    1968 Restoration after 30 Years!

I have been a member here for a very long time, and have had a loaded red/red c-code California Special since the early 90’s. The car was last on the road in California in 1982. I stored it until 2010, when I took it for a 12 year nightmare paint job. Finally!…it’s out of the paint shop and...

Wanted 1968 Small Block smog pipes

I’m finically restoring a car that I have had for nearly 30 years. I have apparently lost a couple smog pets along the way. I need both of the metal pipes that screw into the cylinder heads. See attached pictures.

    1968 Best Quality Repo Fiberglass

I am finally getting around to restoring my GT/CS. Does anyone have opinions on which reproduction fiberglass is the best quality? My end caps are missing and one of my scoops is broken beyond repair. I don't mind paying extra for better fit and accuracy in reproduction. Thanks!
