Wow, that price is rather high for a car that at minimum needs bodywork and paint.

Agree. Strip, body repair, paint= $8K minimum, plus any mechanical work- suspension, engine, add P/B, A/C, + miscellaneous items, to bring it to a fair market value of $35K. The initial purchase value would be $20K max IMHO. (Been there, done that.)

1968 CLASSIC FORD MUSTANG COUPE GT/CS California Special, Rare Classic !

289 cid V8 C code with automatic transmission and dual exhaust. This Classic Mustang runs and drives as it should.

Drives tight and has good stopping power.

Engine bay is tidy and the interior is in good condition as well ( see pics)

I have the Marti report as documentation for the GT/CS option being the real deal.

Please check my feedback as I have been an Ebay high rated seller for over 23 years.

Hard to find in this condition , solid 8 cyl. Coupe that has not been resto modded, or cloned .

The body is as solid as you can have with a Classic Mustang with solid body panels & underbody too !!!

Front and rear frame rails are original , solid condition.

American Racing Torque Thrust II polished wheels radial tires.

Factory Power Steering

Original C code , 200 horsepower 289 V8 which runs and drives well, with Power Steering

Paint is an 8 out of 10 with 10 being perfect , shiny and smooth and has some very minor flaws and is in very good condition

***** I am proud to list this very good Mustang for sale to the Ebay community********

Body gaps are great and all windows roll up and down properly

All of the gauges , instruments, and lights operate

The car runs well, shifts good, stops well and is a pleasure to drive ......

LOTS of nice chrome and bright trim .....excellent interior

new price at $38,500 seems high to me... Any thoughts? I'm trying to buy my first Cali Special and have been taken aback at what people want $$ for non-rotisserie older restoration cars.
