I'm thinking of adding the chrome wheel flare moldings to my car. My question is this: Were these a a dealer add on, or did some cars come from the factory with them installed? Easy or tricky to install? Anybody have any issues with them? Thanks for your opinions.

As memory serves me, I think it was part of a factory exterior upgrade option, not sure of the nomenclature. I added them to my C/S (aftermarket). They fit OK with a little coaxing & fitting them to the fender contour. I like the little extra splash of bright trim around the fenders. Sources: Ron (clubpro), or NPD.

Thanks Neil for the business plug!

The wheel lip moulding was part of the Exterior Decor package from the factory. They are pretty easy to install and do look good. They add a little "Bling" to the car. Your cost would be $60 plus shipping.

Cheers,

My car has them and I think they look great! They are a nice finishing touch. They`re fun to polish too. There is just not enough chrome on cars these days.
