trunk

I don't understand what that fiberglass box is in the trunk covering the tail light housings? Looks like it is factory made and fits perfectly? Any idea what that is? Wally

That is a mis-shaped cardboard cover that is meant to cover the taillights in the trunk.
Here's a photo of a correct cover.

I don't know Neil. The part I'm looking at has a molded lip around the bottom, a tab for a screw mount at the top and the ends over the outer light and near the bottom of the gas filler support look formed.

Speedy mentioned that the 61 DSO is way too early for this to be a GT/CS. Good catch, I hadn't thought of that problem.
Definitely a clone. The earliest 61 DSO car we have in the registry is C170009

They must have recently added that comment. The seller told me the car is a real GT/CS.
I then sent him a long list of red flags.

I have never seen anything like that. It certainly looks like a better solution than the cardboard panels. I would like to know where he got it. Ford proto type? It looks to good to be home made.
