Seller’s Description:
Offered here for your consideration is an exceptional 1968 Mustang California Special GT/CS Hardtop. This fine automobile was purchased new at the Norman Ford Dealer in Pomona, California and has remained with the same family ever since. The owner currently retains the original factory window sticker.

Every nut and bolt has been touched on this vehicle during the restoration. The body was taken down to bare metal and the paint was expertly applied. The engine was completely rebuilt with a new clutch approximately 20 years ago and has 5,000 miles run time maximum. Both the engine and bay are highly detailed. The undercarriage is as clean and detailed befitting the exterior of the vehicle. There is 350 miles on the vehicle since the project was completed.

The owners invested in a Marti Report to verify it's history and authenticity. Interesting facts discovered regarding this particular car:

Only 4,118 Mustang California Specials were manufactured in 1968.
Of those, 962 came with a 302 CI engine.
Only 218 had a 4-speed manual transmission which this car sports.
Only 51 of them were painted Candyapple Red.
25 of them had Red Standard Bucket Seats.
2 of them came with front headrests.
Only 1 (this car), was produced with a 3.00 Limited Slip Rear Axle! This Mustang is indeed very special.
In addition, the car retains the original Lucas spotlights that are nearly impossible to locate. Seatbelts were installed plus the interior has a center console and headrests that were an option that were installed at the factory. Upgrades include a Vintage Air unit that blows cold. (The original AC parts will come with this sale). A SiriusXM radio has been installed plus an electric antenna.

If you are seeking a truly stellar Mustang California Special you have located your vehicle. I believe whoever purchases this amazing car will be thrilled upon delivery.

Looks like Lucas fog lites to me, not Marchal.
Nonetheless, a nicely done GT/CS.
