Amazing car! I had a '67 Cougar XR-7 GT-390 for several years, but the GT-E has always been one of my top dream cars.

It's a highly optioned and desirable car, but I'm still surprised that $165,000 didn't meet the reserve.

The current owner paid up for that car 5-6 years ago.
1 of 3 built, 1 of 2 known. This car is the most original of the two surviving R code GT-E 4 speeds.
