the previous owner of my car replaced the driver side remote mirror with a stationary mirror. they also replaced the interior door panels. i have installed a remote mirror on my car but there isn't a hole in the door panel for the remote knob. there are no markings on the new door panel where i should cut. i know the spot where it should be from the top of the panel, but i was wondering if anybody could tell me the measurement from the chrome trim piece (on panel) to the center of the miror knob? any help would be appreciated!!

thanks
tom
