One of my Spring projects is to replace some incorrect items in the engine bay. The coil that came with the car is an aftermarket one. The PO tried to make it look correct by painting the top. Unfortunately, he used a very bright yellow, so it sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb. I have purchased a reproduction yellow top. The aftermarket coil has a + on the left terminal and a - on the right one. The yellow top repro has BAT. on the left and DIST. on the right. Am I correct to assume that BAT. = + and DIST. = -?

Thanks.
