1968 Grille molding mount to grille

I am wondering how the grille molding is mounted to the grille on the top corners? Also, what type of hardware to use. I am worried about adding stress to the grille or possibly even damage it.

Any info would be helpful. Thank you.

PS. I spent at least 20 minutes looking through all the old posts and couldn't find anything related to this.
