The owners name is Dan (not to be confused with Dan Teets). As mentioned the Marti Report has been posted to the facebook ad.

Dan has been a local collector and restorer in the Denver area for a long time. He knows his stuff. He took this car in partial trade for a restoration job he completed for the owner. I think he said he has had it for a couple of years.

Dan was very open about the car, its condition, and what it needs. There is more body work than I would like and it will push me into a cost range I am not comfortable with, so I am passing. However, with what these cars are selling for these days, I think you could do alright with this rare mustang (J code HCS).

What body work are we talking about? Rust or other damage?

I think Dan is best to speak with about the car. I looked at it for about 10 minutes. The car had previous front and rear damage. Most of it repaired though. Dan mentioned that some panels and torque boxes probably need to be replaced. Front of hood had a dent that had been somewhat repaired. Car needs a repaint. Interior is probably original, but in very nice condition. It has a floor console, but did not come with one per the Marti report.

I did not see much rust, but also didn't look that closely or under the car. The cowl area did look pretty clean.

He thinks the engine is original, but there were no numbers stamped on the back pad. Some of the obvious date codes seemed correct.
