Steve,
Cutting the heads off a couple bolts and using them as guide pins is a great idea. It worked perfectly.

Ok, this thing is sweet. I can actually choose a gear instead of guessing and hoping!!! Now if I can just get the tach working it’ll be ready for a serious road test.
