Before eBay I want to see if anyone here is interested in a pair (C8ZZ-65290A77-B and C8ZZ-65290A76-B) of original side scoops for 1968 Ford Mustang California Special GT/CS. These are NOS items and come with both the metal inserts, which are also NOS, as well as 4 rivets to attach them to the scoops. I belive that only missing items to complete the installation is the washers, nuts and one stud.

$1500 w/shipping.

I can't quite tell from the photos. Do these scoops have a small "drain gap" (for lack of better term) like the photo below shows?

Should they have these drain grooves? I have a NOS set and they do have the groves. I am jus not sure if it was something they added later?

I can't say for sure, but my unrestored HCS scoops have them. I just took them off for the first time a week or so ago (see my photo above)

Also, in Paul Newitt's "Recognition Guide & Owner's Manual" on page 107, there's a photo in the bottom right corner that appears to also show this "drain groove". It's not a close up photo, but the groove looks like it's there to me.
