Does anyone know if the filter can be removed from a VACUUM Tree? I have seen both versions in images below. What would be the different types be used on? I need to find one as my car the PO plugged the location (302, AC, PS,PB). I see they make a reproduction part but appears it functions at a lower temp than the 225 it is suppose to be.

REVIEW
The vacuum control valve looks nice, but due to issues I’ve had with various reproduction parts over the years, I decided to test it prior to installation. Using a small pot of warmed water, I found that the valve switched from port 1 to port 2 at 135 degrees Fahrenheit (perhaps even lower, I didn’t bother testing with cooler water). It shouldn’t switch ports until about 215-225 F.
