COMMENTS: I am the second owner of this HCS "California Black Plate" Mustang. The original owner moved to California in 1967, were the HCS spent the next 33 years. In 2000 the owner moved to Pahrump Nevada. This car is rust free and unrestored and except for the traction control and mag wheels it is unmolested. The body is very straight, but needs a new paint job. The engine was rebuilt a few years ago. I found this one on Ebay in 2002, but the auction ended without meeting the reserve. I contacted the owner and made him an offer, which he accepted. How many of the 333 HCS´s out there have survived in this condition? It makes you wonder.
