Additional Comments: I am confident that we are at least the 3rd owner of this vehicle. We have the original owners manual and spare tire instructions and kit. When we purchased our GT/CS in July of 2002 it had 46,500 ORIGINAL miles on it. It was looked over carefully by a certified Ford Mechanic of over 30 years who confirmed that he too thought it was original miles. It currently has 61,173 miles on it as of 7/7/23. We know that it was repainted (the same original candy apple red (T) color in the 1980s and that a previous owner lived in Luling, LA. We were told that the engine was upgraded from a 289 2 barrel to a 289 4 barrel carburetor possibly around the same time as the repaint. The radio was updated to a JVC Mustang AM/FM Cassette deck at some point though we still have the original AM/FM radio. It also has the Shelby Cobra Engine Dress up kit and it has a Shelby Cobra oil pan, installed in 2003. In 2002 an aftermarket matching right side mirror was added on to the car. The exhaust system (including the muffler) was changed out with genuine Shelby Mustang exhaust system in 2004 or 2005. The original exhaust manifolds still remain. I believe the power steering pump was changed around that time. Since we've had the car we've also changed out starter, the solenoid and the battery a few times. The car was used as a daily driver in the early 2000s by the previous owner to go to and from work. We used it as a daily driver from April of 2003 until Fall of 2004. From there it became a classic car driven a few times per week or month depending on weather.
