Additional Comments: This GT/CS has been in Alberta, Canada all of it's life so far with a total of 5 owners. First sold to Preston Gitzel from Metro Ford in Calgary, Alberta on September 12, 1968. He took the car to Grande Prairie Alberta where he lived. He had the car for about 5 years then traded it into Windsor Ford in Grande Prairie in 1973. The second owner Trudy Lavoie purchased the car in 1973 for $2.900 from River Drive motors in Peace River Alberta. She owned the car for 13yrs until 1986. It was then sold to Jay Danelesko in Edmonton, Alberta for $3,000. The GT/CS was then sold to Don Nicholls in 1992 for $5,000. Don Nicholls owned a car restoration business in Edmonton, Alberta and then started a 24yr (1992-2016) rotisserie restoration on the car back to it's original build specifications as it was his personal car. In 2017 the car was bought by Dean & Julie Petryna in Leduc Alberta. I believe this to be a pretty rare GT/CS as it is 1 of 729 mustangs delivered into the B6 (Western Canada) region. From the marti report is it one of 188 GT/CS in Meadowlark Yellow, one of 145 with black bucket seats and one of 5 cars built with headrests. We love owning & driving this piece of automotive history.
