My dad bought it off a lot in Topeka, KS in either 1970 or 1971. The original owner was in the Air Force, stationed at Forbes Air Force base. He was either transferred or shipped overseas, and sold the car back to the dealer. When I got home from Iraq in 2004, dad wanted me to have the car, so signed over the title to me with the condition that if I ever wanted to sell it, I had to offer it to he and my brother first. It needs a lot of work. Time has not been kind, and for four years it was sun baked in Hays, KS while my brother drove it in college. After that, it sat outside in the weather for a few years. It's now garaged, waiting for me to win the lottery.
