It was sold on the 8th May 1968. (Bit missing here.) The Californian plate WQN734 on the vehicle show the last registration was in 1978. Tim Mitchell, Judge of Probate in the State of Alabama sold the car on 10th June 2008 to Larry Dixon in Queensland Australia, who had received vehicle import approval four day earlier on the 6th June 2008. Larry sold the car on Ebay AU on 15th July 2009 to William "Jack" Herlihen at Brown Terrace Cars in South Australia. Jack sorted out the legal issues so the car could be driven on Australian roads. (Changed wheels, left hand drive exemption, legal check of the vehicle, etc.....) The car appears original with the exception of the gearbox which is now a four speed top loader. We stripped the car for the respray and had the foot well rust removed and a small amount of rust in the passenger's side door. The body is in otherwise remarkable condition for its age. The lights on the car are Lucas with the covers not Marchall though. The interior upholstery is in great restored condition and retains the factory specifications.
